Once upon a time, long, long ago..

Once upon a time, long, long ago..

Today, I have a special story to share with you. Some would say, a real fairytale!

Once upon a time, long, long ago, there lived a very creative girl with a heart full of love for beautiful things and treasures from days gone by. With a bucketful of imagination, a brave heart, and plenty of passion, she began creating her own beautiful things to share with the world.

And somehow, before she quite realized what had happened, ten years had passed.During those years, she had gathered many treasures from the past. But then, one day, quite by chance, she stumbled upon a treasure unlike all the others. It was a great old book, the size of thirty-nine teacups, and within its pages bloomed delicate flowers, ornate borders, and the most enchanting patterns imaginable.

She turned one page, and then another, and another still. The more she saw, the more her heart delighted in the discovery. And before long, she knew that this treasure was not meant for her alone. Surely, her fellow creative souls would love this art just as much.

Such a treasure could not remain hidden away. It must be shared.

But old treasures do not reveal their secrets easily. They require patience and even a little magic to transform them. And so began many hours of careful work—restoring the precious pages, saving every detail, piecing together the patterns, and bringing these forgotten works of art back to life.

And at last, she did it! The beautiful designs were ready to leave their century-old pages behind and find their way into the hands of creative souls far and wide.

This year marks 10 years of Wintertime Crafts. A decade spent creating, discovering, collecting, learning, and sharing beautiful things. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who's been part of making this journey possible. Your support has allowed me to keep following my passion, bringing home beautiful treasures (like this gorgeous wallpaper book!), and giving them a new life to share with you.

Over the years, my love for collecting, restoring, and creating with beautiful old things has only grown stronger. This project has been the biggest one yet. With 39 washi tapes across 4 sets (see them all here), it is the largest collection of designs I have ever launched, and I hope it will be the first of many more adventures to come.

And so the story continues…
