For years I've been hoarding punches, dies, blades, pre-perforated papers, and yes, even a sewing machine, to make my own DIY postage stamps. Long story short, I've never really loved the results. I stopped my search for this "amazing stamp-making tool" and created this thin die instead. So, if you're a creative soul who loves the look of pinhole perforated stamps with beautifully torn edges, then the Cut-N-Tear™ die is a must-have for you!
To use this product, you'll need to have a die cutting machine like the Sizzix, Cuttlebug, or similar. The die will cut a square sheet (3.7" x 3.7") with perforated lines giving a total of 6 stamps; 3 smaller stamps (1.0" x 1.3") and 3 larger stamps (1.0" x 1.7"). The die works best with bond/text papers 24-80 lb / 90-120 GSM, but will also cut cardstock.
I offer my own original Cut-N-Tear™ digital files ready to download, print, cut and tear. Find your favorite(s) in the Digital section of the shop or be inspired and create your own artwork! Print your favorite collages, decorate sheets of paper, stamp vellum, cut book pages—the possibilities are endless.
The die is made from durable, high-quality steel. It's packed in a beautiful, custom made string tie envelope. Instructions included.
This product is for making faux postage stamps for decorative purposes only. Do NOT use these as replacements for real postage stamps. Do not decorate envelopes, letters or postcards for mailing in a way where these can be confused as real stamps. The stamps in the photos were printed on 28lb premium paper at Staples and cut with a Cuttlebug using plates A, B and C.
