Please note: The natural oils on our hands and fingers can sometimes cause issues when touching the adhesive side of washi tapes, resulting in a strip that won't adhere well to the final project. Please pay extra attention to this when using the ultra-slim tapes, as their small size can make handling a bit more challenging.
I recommend using clean, dry hands without any creams or lotions. Tweezers and scissors may also be helpful—and sometimes a little extra dab of glue can work wonders!
Washi tapes from Wintertime Crafts are created for paper crafting projects. The semi-permanent adhesive allows for the tape to be repositioned without tearing your project. Washi tape is not recommended for projects where a strong hold is needed (e.g., hanging objects) or in projects exposed to the elements/outdoors unless coated with a protective spray. How well the tape will adhere to walls, cabinets etc. depends on the texture of the surface - a smooth, hi-gloss (plastic, glass etc.) surface often works, but overall I recommend using these tapes for paper projects only.
