This design is inspired by old family letters and reminds us of a different time—a time before the internet, cell phones, and emails. The many added postal details, like stamps, postmarks, air mail, carte postale, and registered mail labels, take us back to an era when letter-writing and postcards were the only way to share life updates with faraway friends and family. If a tape could capture nostalgia, this would be it!

This tape is 5 meters long and has backing paper for easy cutting, peeling, and precise application.

How to use washi tape?

Washi tapes from Wintertime Crafts are created for paper crafting projects. The semi-permanent adhesive allows the tape to be repositioned without tearing your project or leaving any residue behind.

Washi tape is not recommended for projects where a strong hold is needed (e.g., hanging objects) or in projects exposed to the elements/outdoors unless coated with a protective spray. How well the tape will adhere to walls, cabinets etc. depends on the texture of the surface - a smooth, hi-gloss (plastic, glass etc.) surface often works, but overall we recommend using these tapes for paper projects only.
